Masaryk museum in Hodonín consists of several workplaces. Firstly, main exhibitions are situated to Hodonín, specifically exposition T. G. Masaryk and his native region. Other temporary exhibitions také place in Národní třída 21 building, where is located also a hall „Evropa“ and archeological department. Secondly, museum administrates so called „Vlastivědné muzeum“ in Kyjov, which focuses on history, ethnography and archeology of former county Kyjov. Thirdly, within its authority lies also Municipal museum in Veselí nad Moravou, where visitors can see exihibitions of local archeological finds, history of the town and castle, and ethnographical exposition aimed at ceramics, painted Easter eggs, furniture and embroideries. Another institutional part of Hodonín´s museum is Slavic fortified settlement in Mikulčice, which is remarkable as a significant site of Great Moravia, seat of moravian king and place of cultural and religious mission of St. Cyril and Methodius. Museum has also historical, ethnographical and archeological orientation. Specialized section, which connects all of these museums, is Regional department of popular culture and folklore. Expect of scientist and exhibition activity of institution, there is also provided educational programms for schools and general public.
